Accessible Walks - New Zealand

The Department of Conservation has produced two guides to accessible walks in New Zealand, one for the North Island and one for the South Island

There are walks accessible to people of all abilities in scenic and interesting places all over New Zealand. Some are suitable for wheelchair users, mountain buggies and young families. These brochures highlight some of the best easy access walks and describes their features, surfaces and the facilities nearby. Information panels are often provided beside these walks so you can learn more about what you see.
